Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
If you enroll in the PPO Plan with HRA, T-Mobile provides a Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) to help pay for eligible healthcare expenses.
The HRA is funded entirely by T-Mobile and can be used toward eligible medical and prescription drug expenses. Many services under the PPO Plan require only a copay, and HRA funds can help cover other eligible out-of-pocket costs.
T-Mobile Helps You Save
When you enroll in the PPO Plan with HRA, T-Mobile contributes money to your HRA to help offset healthcare expenses.
How the HRA Works
You can use HRA funds to help pay for eligible medical expenses, including:
- Deductibles
- Coinsurance
- Copays
- Prescription drug expenses
- Other eligible medical expenses
Once the funds in your HRA have been used, you are responsible for any remaining out-of-pocket costs under the plan. Note: HRA funds cannot be used for dental or vision expenses.
What to Know Before You Enroll
- The HRA is funded entirely by T-Mobile
- Employees cannot contribute to the HRA
- You may enroll in a Health Care FSA while participating in the HRA Plan
- The PPO Plan with HRA provides both in-network and out-of-network coverage
- You'll generally pay less when you use in-network providers
HRA Funds Roll Over
Unused HRA funds automatically carry over from year to year as long as you remain enrolled in the PPO Plan with HRA.
- No action is required to carry over funds
- Up to $6,000 in employer contributions can accumulate in your account
- Carryover funds are added automatically each year
